The GW Sustainability Faculty Network (GWSFN) is a voluntary network of faculty from The George Washington University who are interested and/or involved in sustainability.  This web site is intended to be a forum in which faculty can share sustainability-related information on upcoming and past events, new course ideas and listings, job openings, and more.  We look forward to including a growing number of faculty in the SWSFN.

The University's Commitment to Sustainability

The George Washington University has committed to becoming a sustainable institution.  Several steps have been taken in this direction, including the creation of the Office of Sustainability in 2008.  See President Knapp's Earth Day 2009 interview.
